Dr. Katie Hansen opened Peak Pediatric Care in North Attleboro after 15 years at Sturdy Pediatrics.
Joined by Amy Janos, Dr. Hansen has created an office that is welcoming to patients and parents.
A Family Affair
The Hansen team includes pediatrician Katie Hansen, Office Manager Adam Hansen, and even beloved family pooch Boma, our therapy dog in training, who brings a tail-wagging welcome and extra support to patients who need him.
Dr. Katie Hansen
Dr. Katie Hansen has been practicing pediatrics in the North Attleboro, MA area since 2006 and relishes every opportunity to get to know families and serve the community where she lives.
She has a special interest in mental health and overall wellness, treating each patient as an individual and considering all the factors that influence their health, including mind, body, lifestyle, and community. Dr. Hansen’s healing-oriented style focuses on the whole person and whenever possible, integrates natural, less invasive options that are supported by evidence and science.
Dr. Hansen graduated from Wellesley College and the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. She completed her pediatric residency at Brown University/Hasbro Children’s Hospital in Providence, RI, and will finish a fellowship in Integrative Medicine with The University of Arizona Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine in the fall of 2022.
Dr. Hansen and her husband, office manager Adam Hansen, have two young boys, three cats, and one golden retriever (who you’ll see around the office helping our patients settle in).
When she’s not working, she enjoys running, photography, traveling, and cake decorating (eating cake is pretty fun too).
"Dr. Hansen always makes our son feel comfortable at every visit. He’s been going to her for 13 years now and he really enjoys seeing her yearly for his visits. She is thorough, smart, kind and down to earth."
