Using Spruce to Connect with Peak Pediatric Care
What is Spruce?
Spruce is a HIPAA-compliant secure messaging app that allows you to connect with our office by text. When you register for your free account with Spruce, you’ll be able to skip the phone and get a response by sending a secure message to our office.
Spruce allows you to get answers, request an appointment, and if a telemedicine appointment is needed, you can connect with our team of providers right in the app.
When to use Spruce
Think of Spruce as an alternative to calling Peak so you don’t have to wait on hold when you have a medical concern or office question. Just send us a secure message and get on with your day.
If you think your child needs a same-day appointment, you can message us with your concerns and a member of our team will consult with our team of providers about how to proceed.
If your child is having a medical emergency, please call 911.
You can message us using Spruce at any time of day. We strive to respond to all questions during business hours. If you are messaging a medical concern after hours, your message will be answered during business hours, or you may call our night nursing staff.
All non-urgent communication should be sent to the patient portal.
Getting started with Spruce
Using Spruce is easy. Sign up for a free account through the Peak Pediatric Care page on Spruce. From within the app, you can send us a secure message and it will be directed to the appropriate staff member.
You will be notified when we respond, and any follow-up—including sending photos or connecting with staff for a telemedicine visit if needed—can be completed within the app.
